របៀបតំឡើង Khmer Keyboard & Fonts នៅលើ Macbook Pro

Setting up Khmer Unicode for Mac is different from installing Khmer Unicode on Windows. For Mac user, you need to go through the following steps:

Install Khmer Unicode:
Double click on KhmerOSXv12.dmg file and setup step-by-step below:

Install Khmer OS Fonts:
Copy and Paste Khmer OS Fonts to Macintosh HD > System > Library > Fonts

Install Khmer Keyboard Layout:
Copy Khmer Keyboard Layout file (khmer.keylayout) and Cambodia flag icon (khmer.icns) to Macintosh HD > Library > Keyboard Layouts

How to Add Khmer Keyboard Icons (flag):
Go to Apple Symbol > System Preferences… > Language & Text > Select “Input Source” Tab

√ Khmer
√ Show Input menu in menu bar

Please restart or logout your Mac for the effect.

iTunes Match Icons Explained

If you signed up for iTunes Match and you’re seeing some peculiar icons in your music library alongside track name, don’t miss this chart put together by Apple that explains what each icon means, helping you troubleshoot the problem.

The icons include:

• Cloud with a slash through it – ineligible for iTunes Match
• X’ed out cloud – removed from iCloud
• Cloud with an exclamation point – error uploading the song
• Double cloud with a slash through it – duplicate song exists
• Empty cloud – song is waiting to be processed

Show a "Now Playing" iTunes Notification in the Mac OS X Lion Dock

Using a defaults write command, the iTunes Dock icon can be set to display a “Now Playing” song and artist pop-up that transitions in and out and music starts. It’s a nice addition, particularly if you’re playing songs from a shared network playlist and have iTunes hidden in the background.

Enable the iTunes song & artist Dock icon popup:
Open the Terminal in /Applications/Utilities/ and type the following:

Start playing a song in iTunes to see the notification appear, it’ll disappear automatically and then reappear briefly anytime a new song starts.

Note: This only works in Mac OS X Lion 10.7.
